Gilead COMPASS Initiative®: HIV Treatment and Resources in Southern United States

There are bigger organization like Gilead COMPASS Initiative®, that offer Gilead HIV resource, funds and treatments to people and organization that are working towards breaking the chain of HIV and the related stigma in Southern United States. The institute has a total of $100 million to help partners, organization and individuals to help raise fund for HIV positive people and their treatment. Over the tenure of 10 years, they have managed to help 148 partners, 14623 people have been reached and 289 grants and training have taken place.

The overall concept of Gilead COMPASS Initiative® through their HIV Gilead initiative is to offer learning, training and raising funds. The collaborative learning sessions help you gain and spread awareness about HIV so that people stop believing the myths that surrounds this disease. It has three centers, the University Of Houston Graduate College Of Social Work, Southern AIDS Coalition and the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. There are four types of grants that are offered by Gilead COMPASS Initiative® for Gilead HIV treatment and they are, Core grants, ACTION grants, SPARK! Grants and Transformative grants.
